Cabinets and plum dumplings

Present parsonage / future church at Kovacica
Carpentering in a future church room
The structure for the new church building in Kovacica is a sort-of duplex house that was never finished (think rough brick walls and dirt floor).  Part of it is morphing into the "parsonage" for the newly assigned and newly wed pastor and his wife, and the other part will become the new sanctuary and other assorted church rooms.    The parsonage part is mostly finished;  the young (twenty-something) couple is living there now.  Janko and Marty spent the last 2 days assembling kitchen cabinets, installing them and installing the kitchen water heater in one of the cabinets (think small water heater!).  A problem for the immediate future is to figure out what to do with the 240 volt electric wires that run through the exact spot in the wall where the duct for the range fan must go.   Meanwhile, Susie and Liljana bought some plums at the local market and turned them into plum jam and plum dumplings.
We'll buy plums today, maybe firewood later
